“Valentino V opens with a very pretty blast of citrus and fig. It's a short fleeting blast, but it's enough to make you realize this is a sophisticated scent. It quickly warms up to a sweet woody vanilla with a touch of heliotrope, very cozy. Dry down, which doesn't last very long at all, is a musky vanilla, a little on the sweet side.Valentino V reminded me of Silk Way by Ted Lapidus although it's a little more sohpisticated and refined. Silk Way has a kind of in-your-face vanilla that's toned down a bit here.”
