“The opening is really nice gourmand strudel like, very sweet and cozy. The dry down is kinda disappointing, it smells straight up like a Christmas candle…at least to me. The longevity and sillage arent great either considering the price.”
“This smells like a holiday/fall candle in the opening. The drydown gets significantly better on me, bringing out more cinnamon, osmanthus, and a bit of an apricot-like quality. There's definitely benzoin in this, it comes out more in the drydown. That's where that caramel-like faucet is coming from. I like it.I don't get any pastry notes, but my husband says, "It smells like a cookie," and he's not into fragrances and doesn't know notes.I could see this being a full bottle in the future.”
“To those afraid it smells like a candle… it does smell like a yankee candle…. AT FIRST. but then it does dry down into this caramelized apple pastry thing. It even has a touch of a savory smell in there. There is still a bit of that candle aspect but it’s not really noticeable in the dry down. For me at least.”
