What wearers say

“I don't have the original, but I do have the Dua Brand dupe, Vanilla Woods & Amber Plum. It is gorgeous. It starts out fruity and flirty; I can pick up the plum, but it's not dark and heavy. This was a good pick-me-up when I started the day. Later on, it seemed to grow up and become a sensual vanilla with a soft fruity musk in the background.Normally when I find a Dua Brand dupe that I like, I'll go and get the original. Since the original is a body mist and the dupe is a perfume, I'll keep the dupe.”

“This is something Barbie would wear, because it smells like plastic.Honestly, although it is synthetic, I do like it, but it isn't that nice, to be fair.Strength, sillage and longevity are kinda weak. It is subtle.Amber is the highlight and I am surprised there isn't patchouli in this.Overall, I don't think it's blind-buy safe, and not really worth the price, either.Autumn vibes, reminds me of the little red riding hood.”

“I've never really been a fan of SDJ as a whole, however this was gifted to me so I decided to give it a try. Overall, its a solid composition, but it's nothing extraordinary, just a fruity vanilla. I don't really understand the hype when a scent like this is a dime a dozen. I'm not saying it's bad, its just not worth the countless dupes and overwhelming veneration. The price point is honestly obscene considering it's simplicity and short longevity, you can get the same thing at Bath and Bodyworks for a third of the price. I'll use it from time to time, but it's nothing to obsess over.”

The clone eliminates key nutty and coconut notes in favor of plum and amber, resulting in a different scent trajectory. Cheirosa '40 is known for better longevity and a more balanced floral-creamy structure, while this Dua offering leans heavily into woody-amber sweetness.

La Ree's version delivers comparable longevity and sillage but with a slightly thinner mid-development and less prominent floral character. The creamy opening is faithful, but the transition to the base feels less seamless than the original.
