Vicebomb

“I once received a sample and completely fell for it. The opening is a boozy cherry, it smells like a freshly opened bottle of good Kirsch. After a while, the scent settles down and, alongside the cherry, I can pick up caramel, vanilla and sugar. In the base, tonka stands out clearly, supported by a subtle woody notes. Overall the scent it’s very pleasant, but not cloying. Projection reaches about an arm’s length, and longevity is average, around 4 to 5 hours. I find it wears best in the evening and during the autumn winter season.”

“This smells almost exactly like Notorieta (I tested that one today and thought I mixed up the samples they are almost identical) Vicebomb also smells like a cherry accord added to a gentle fluidity gold. It comes across as too nice, too polished and forced. A bit synthetic and not worth niche prices.”

“It's nice but not something I would wear. It's sweet and pretty linear on me. I just get a lot of Vanilla, Ylang Ylang and sugar with very slight caramel, tonka, fruits, amber & no woody notes. I'm not a fan of Ylang Ylang but it's not bad here. Overall, it's just average for me and a bit cloying. The longevity is decent with moderate sillage and projection.”
