“Wooft. I love this.Every time I wear it, that opening blast gives me doubts (it smells like a strong body spray marketed to teenage boys) but then it settles down into a beeeeeaaaaautiful musky, fruity rose.Good sillage, decent longevity, great notes. A gem.EDIT: I don’t love this, now I’ve owned it a while. The masculine opening does settle but it never turns feminine on me. I think it’s the patchouli citrus elements in it. I was hoping for a powdery rose but it never arrives. I certainly don’t hate it but I probably wouldn’t rebuy it.Performance is good though - lasts and projects.”

“The opening and mid-stage of Starry Nights smell like a rose-oud fragrance targeted to a male audience. I get a unisex vibe only once the fragrance has dried down. Interestingly, besides a strong musk and rose, I mostly get a piercing woody note, similar to oud. Essentially, Starry Nights smells like a rose-oud combo one can find in many fragrances these days, even though the official description of the fragrance would not lead to that conclusion. In true Montale fashion, longevity on clothes is easily several days thanks to that strong signature musk.”

“This one is pretty but for colder days in my opinion. I bought it in winter and wore it a lot.The opening is masculine but I feel like the drydown is powdery and more feminine. It’s dreamy, fresh but also strong. People like it but I just hate it on hot days. It’s overwhelming.”
