“Promising opening but the dry down disappointed me, too much tonka and overall not so great quality feel.Having loved the original Bottega Veneta PH and been frustrated about its performance, I had high hopes for this. It’s indeed close to the Extreme version, which I also find to lack balance, much preferring the original.I’d recommend testing before buying, especially given Memo’s prices. Performance is strong, remaining easily noticeable for at least 6-7 hours.”

Neither even close.• Have old wolf bottle; rumor of reformulation in new bear bottle?• Icy leather-mint opening.• Slightly Christmasy drydown is less exciting. Would have preferred to just dry down with more potent leather.• Have not found a good clone yet. The Alhambra clone completely misses the icy opening and turns the Christmas-candle notes WAY up.”

“Got a decant because of comparisons to 1828 which I love. First impression: This is excellent. This smells like the somewhat similar to 1828 but with lavender, mint, pine, and tonka for a bit of sweetness. Maybe like a mixture of 1828 and Gaultier Le Male.But here there's background players of guaiac and leather. Many say they don't get much leather but I find it really blooms on my skin on the drydownI think this does a great job at conveying the cold tundra of a Russian forest in the winter. 🐺Scent 9/10Performance 4.5/10P.S. Tested further and bought a bottle. Love this one.”
