“I believe Instant Crush varies from batch to batch. The one I purchased (a 2021 batch) leans heavily on saffron and vanilla, with few noticeable top notes. Its projection and longevity are fairly average, and the scent remains quite linear, something you could easily find in a dupe at a quarter of the price. Contrary to some claims, it’s not a synthetic, chemical powerhouse with nuclear performance. In fact, I’d say the performance is underwhelming.”
“This smells like a better blended version of Badee al oud for greatness, saffron bomb with vanilla undertones. It's pleasant, better suited for colder days. Beastmode performance, very similar to BR540. I get little to no citrus from this at all, has a weird metallic/alcholic opening but has a nice sweet rose-woody drydown similar to badee al oud. It's alright.”
