âOkay I am a vanilla gourmand lover, can't have enough of them tbh. I purchased this a couple years ago when the hype first started. The scent is beautiful but the longevity and projection is rather poor especially for this price point & it being niche. It's improved a touch with age but it's still basically gone by the 3 hour mark. Now I don't expect every $200+ fragrance to be a beast by any means, they don't have to be loud projection but at least gimme 6+ hours of wear. Definitely won't be a repurchase once I run out. Lovely scent but poor performance for price point. Wouldn't recommend.â
âA wonderful scent, I find nothing synthetic or cold-like menthol in it.Very similar to Amore Caffè, with the difference that Escapade Gourmande lasts forever on my skin and Amore Caffè disappears completely after 2-3 hours. The last phase of the scent smells like Pink Sugar (which is not a disadvantage for me but was a bit of a surprise).Anuway I probably won't buy the whole bottle. From scents that go in a similar direction, my no.1 is still A Whiff of Waffle Cone.â
âFell into the hype and bought this about a year ago, I have worn it multiple times but realized I donât actually like it. Every time I wore it out I got a compliment so I continued to use it, but genuinely I have multiple vanillas that are better than this. People tell me I smell like cotton candy. Upon first spray this smells like wheat (grainy/bran) to my nose and Iâm not sure why. Iâve decided to declutter this because I own so many other vanillas. Overall I donât think this is worth the crazy price tag.â
