Fig & Lotus Flower

“Lovely smell, but very weak longevity and silage. I have perfumes that last way longer on my skin.The smell is intriguing, not sweet (which is a good thing in my book), very clean but a little fruity flowery.I can't break it down into separate scents, I just like it.Would I buy it? No, because of the way too high price point and the weak performance.”

“In the opening of this, the fig is very detectible but it's dewy and watery, not like the green fig in other perfumes like Fico di Amalfi or Un Jardin en Mediteranee. After the opening this ends up smelling very similar to Wood Sage and Sea Salt with a fruitier, fresh and marine/oceanic quality, but then the drydown is a bit woody and you do get more of the lotus flower.”

“When I smelled a piece of wood from Jo Malone's display at a store scented with it, I thought: WOW! what an original, beautiful scent.However, on my skin it is quite different than this first impression. I'm surprised that it is rated as feminine/more female, because on me it smells quite masculine. Still a pleasant, original scent, but maybe I would prefer it on a man? Sillage is fine for me (not too much, not too little), longevity ok for a Jo Malone product.”
