“2/10 because of how similar it is to the original Elixir10/10 scent though. This is what the original Elixir should've been. The plum note is a nice touch and if you are into fragrances that radiate and last hours, you will love this. In the drydown, it is almost identical to Le Male Elixir so I would suggest buying Absolu over the standard Elixir if you have to choose one. I get better performance and a nicer scent in the opening for my taste.”
“Le Male Elixir Absolu is better for me than the previous flanker (Le Male Elixir). It’s not overly sweet, the opening has this dark, fruity sweetness with a warm spicy vibe that feels really smooth. There’s also a noticeable powdery touch, similar to Le Male Le Parfum, which I love.It never comes across as syrupy. The sweetness is more refined, slightly creamy, and the dry down turns into a dry, woody feel. Performance is insane: beast longevity and very strong sillage in the first 1, 3 hours. Total compliment getter.9/10.”
“Smells like a clone version of LME. The plum tobacco Honey accord is best found in Dior Tobacolor. The plum here seems very basic and it feels like it’s just been stamped over the original DNA. I don’t understand all the praise that it’s receiving. The original had dimensions it was complex yet very wearable. Feels like lazy work by Quentin Bisch. It’s almost similar to Lattafa Teriaq intense. There’s a reason why the original was so highly rated.”
