“Take the original Terre d'Hermes and replace the Orange and Grapefruit with Citron in the opening. Replace the Pepper and Vetiver with Juniper Berries and Mineral Notes in the mid and drydown. That's pretty much how this smells compared to TdH. A nice sharp citrus freshie, perfect for hot weather. However, I still prefer the "dirty orange" DNA of TdH. Projection and sillage are good. Longevity for me is about 6 hours.”
“I'm a huge fan of the opening, the dry down is ok but not as good as the opening. On my skin (maybe my skin chemistry) I get a slight urine like scent in the dry down which is weird as that's never happened before with any fragrance. Again it's only slight, and undetectable in air (only real close up). Overall a great freshie with some depth but lacking a little on performance. I don't think I will keep this, I will likely give this one away as a gift due to the fact that this is very similar to Brioni Eclat which I also own and I don't have that dry down issue that that fragrance.”
“Terre d’Hermès Eau Givrée, A Frantic Summer GemIf you're already a fan of the original Terre d’Hermès, this Eau Givrée edition is a must-try. It’s a cooler, fresher takeon the classic, perfect for summer but with a twist: it’s strong and long-lastingPerformance: Last long ... on my skin >10 hoursSophisticated, clean, and confident. For gentlemen.Recommendation: If you love Terre d’Hermès, this is a definite buy. It’s familiar but fresher and more exclusive.”
