“Definitely in the vein of Shalimar (more EDT than EDP as far as the notes), smells like the opening and the first half of the drydown. Bright, almost minerally citrus opening, becomes a warmly sweet vanilla and cinnamon with a leathery musk on the drydown.This is a great autumnal and winter scent.My sample is quite strong, beaming up from my wrists.Full bottle worthy.”

“I find the clove-heavy opening a bit weird and not all that nice, but it dries down in to an amazing woody toffee scent that lasts for hours. Alluring and sexy. Keen to try L’Erbolario’s Meharees which is supposedly just the drydown for a fraction of the price, but for now I’m sticking with the original!”

“Opens with a bold, dirty, animalic, tangerine and spices.2hrs later, comes the thick, ambery, creamy sandalwood, with a velvety musk. Towards the base it inclines more vanillic with a creamy sandalwood like a semi gourmand.Long lasting 8-9hrs. Not loud but non-stop soft projection.Sits very close to skin. Bold, playful, sophisticated sexiness.The opening is very polarizing. But if you wait for it, the dry down is a beautiful reward.Overall 8.5/10.2016 batch.”
