“Lovely fragrance, smells like a slightly more unisex Herod with less of the fresh tobacco, the opening has a slightly strange note to it, like a slight plastic/leather ish smell, that only lasts 10 mins and then it smells amazing, sprayed on at 8am and could still smell it faintly at 4pm so pretty long lasting, great fragrance for autum and winter time.”

“I decluttered this next day after I received it. I only want to flag the performance, which is terrible. The scent is good, similar to Herod, but I could only smell it if I doused myself in it and stuck my nose into my arm. Zero projection, zero longevity on me. I love the scent profile, but I need to actually ...smell it to justify owning it. I don't understand why the perfumer would make a very similar scent to others, but with this kind of performance.”

“I've got a bottle of pre 2019 Herod that I'm holding onto with dear life (I usually hate batch talk but the new bottles are pathetic with longevity) .This is a great alternative, as I get the same level of performance, and my only drawback is that there's very miniscule/no trace of the tobacco that I love so much in Herod. Price proposition wise, this is tremendous.”
