Soie Malaquais

“Okay, maybe I’m insane…but this smells like a super cozy, shea buttery, clean but warm experience. I am trying to find a dupe because I want to smell like this always but don’t want to spend the money (I have decants). It is a great fragrance, don’t get me wrong. But I feel like I should be able to create this with cheaper ingredients. On the other hand, I want to smell like this all the time and get complimented wherever I go. What a conundrum! I’m thinking I probably will just cave because I love it.”

“Chestnut, silk, and cacao that needs some time to sit before it can actually do something.In terms of scent profile it is similar to the opening of CH Good Girl, but I almost feel something slightly smoky. Soie Malaquis is darker and richer.Lasts about 10 hours on clothes but vanishes on the skin.The price is up there, but at $385 for a 6.8 oz refill, just consider the gorgeous bottle as a one time investment.Peace and Love by Lataffa is similar but I would consider it as Soie Malaquis’ day time version.The atomizer sprays a lot though… so keep that in mind.”

“This is... my dream fragrance. I ordered a 2ml sample and unfortunately now I'm obsessed, whether or not it's worth 525 cad, im not so sure but at the same time i want to smell like this for the rest of my life. It is silky and smooth and everything right with a perfume, it just smells luxurious. If you want a classy gourmand, this is it. It reminds me of the shea body butter from the body shop. Mildly. It has a similar essence, probably the nutty undertone. I do wish it lasted a bit longer, I'd say around 6 hours. Looking for a dupe but I don't think anything could match this.”
