“Quite a powdery barber shop old school shaving cream type quality with some light lemon citrus opening that fades. powdery and light floral dry down. Don’t get me wrong this is a quality formulation, and if you like this style of fragrance this will be great. Decent longevity and appropriate sillage for office or indoor setting. Smells more “mature” than “vintage” so imagine older men may enjoy more. Wore this a day after the original mefisto and much prefer that fresh bergamot style.”

“A more aquatic and airy version of the original Mefisto. Which i prefer as the original was too harsh on the florals. So i guess you can say that because of the amped up aquatic notes, this is more similar to SMW than the original Mefisto was.I also get similarities to Green Irish Tweed because they both have Iris and Violet which you recognize quickly.It's a bridge between Silver Mountain Water and Green irish Tweed is the best way to describe it. You get a little of both of them. Definitely worth a try if you are fan of this type of scent.”

“This one is simply breathtaking, possibly one of the best Xerjoff ( including the Shooting Star lines). The dry down of original Mefisto is close to Mefisto Gentiluomo, but the opening of MG is more refined and subdued in a good way. I don't get the comparison to SMW as this MG is much classier and way smoother. Performance is good for about 6-8 hours with solid projection for the first 2-3 hours.”
