“The rave reviews are warranted. Found it for a possibly great price, so I blindly bought it.The opening is majestic. Cacao that reads as a boozy hit, rounded out with the slightest hint of licorice. Myrrh and vanilla quickly join in, not too sweet. As it dries, the overdose of myrrh unexpectedly turns to smoke, similar to the smoke found in By the Fireplace. Frankly, it makes the scent even more interesting.This is luxury bottled.”

“Fiery! The bottle is gorgeous but if it represented the fragrance it could easily be dark red and black, like embers. This is a super dry smoky woody incense perfume. Vanilla helps round out the fragrance but is not the main player for me until in the drydown. Smells like Encens Sauve and By the Fireplace together. It's lovely! Very safe blind buy IMO!”

“This is beautiful. But I'm shocked and disappointed at how weak it is. The CH I have smelled, especially the Confidential line, are intense and have great projection and longevity. This I can barely smell unless I put my nose to my skin. Hope they come out with an "Intense" version!”
