“Got this in a trade from my cousin, its a good scent. Nothing that will blow you away but its solid, its more herbal and woodier than the OG. Starts off fresh and bright but with some maturity and depth, aquatic, citrusy, minerally. Then it dries down to a more herbal woody smell. great for daily office wear and lasts 6-7 hours on me. Decent projection and longevity.”
“A vey herbal juice that reminds me of laundry detergent and fresh cut grass with a metallic note that smells like wet pennies. I think there are much better flankers like parfum, Profumo, and even Absolu. Smell 3/10, longevity 4.5/10 sillage 4/10 price 3.5/10 not good at all to me. Fades quickly even when oversprayed. 8 sprays will only last 2 hours on my skin. Sample before you buy but please consider some of the other adg flankers.”
“Take the original, back off on the florals and amp up the concentration. Replace the lime in the original with green mandarin, which adds a more robust green citrus than the lime. Add some smoke from Profumo and you have Acqua di Gio EDP. Not much sweetness, mostly watery green and smokey. Between a like and love for me.My ranks of the ones I own are1. Profumo2. Absolu3. EDP4. Profondo5. EDT6. Profondo LightsScent: 8.25/10 Fresh, clean, masculine.Longevity: 6-7 hours (heat will bring it back)Projection: Arm's length for the first two hours, then conversational projection.”

Sillage
The clone's longevity and sillage are noticeably weaker than the original, and it lacks the subtle interplay of patchouli and oakmoss that gives Acqua Di Gio its sophisticated dry-down. The citrus opening is comparable but the overall composition feels more linear and less layered.
