Amber is Great captures the fresh citrus opening and aromatic heart of Erba Pura reasonably well, though the execution feels slightly softer and less nuanced. The base translates the amber and musk elements adequately, but lacks some of the sophisticated cedarwood depth that gives the original its refined character.
The clone's citrus tends to be slightly more generic and less vibrant than the original's precise bergamot-grapefruit blend. Longevity is marginally shorter on the clone, with the heart notes fading more quickly into the base.
