Seoul Summer captures the fresh citrus and aquatic character of Invictus but falls short on the complexity and sophistication of the original's woody-aromatic base. The clone opens similarly bright and clean, however the heart lacks the distinctive bay leaf prominence and the base misses the ambergris and guaiac wood's refined depth, resulting in a more generic fresh fragrance.
Seoul Summer is noticeably lighter and more aquatic-forward compared to Invictus, with reduced longevity and sillage. The original's distinctive spiced-woody character is significantly softened in favor of a cleaner, more linear fresh fragrance profile.
