Royale Opal captures the warm, boozy sweetness of Angels Share's opening and heart notes quite well, with the cognac and vanilla combination reading authentically. However, the base feels slightly thinner and less complex, with the oakwood lacking the depth and richness found in the original's dry-down, resulting in a slightly shorter longevity overall.
The clone delivers similar top and middle performance but trails noticeably in base complexity and lasting power. Sillage is also moderately softer, making this a reasonable budget alternative for the opening experience but not a complete replacement.
