The Scoop
Riffs Goodness Oud captures the bold, smoky essence of the original with a strong oud-forward composition supported by spicy and woody undertones. The opening delivers impressive potency with prominent oud and black pepper, though it lacks some of the original's nuanced complexity and refinement. For the price point, this clone offers excellent value for those seeking an aggressive, oud-centric fragrance without the luxury price tag.
Key Differences
The clone presents a more linear oud profile that doesn't evolve as intricately as Initio's version, and the mid-range spice notes feel slightly sharper and less balanced. Additionally, the longevity and projection are marginally less impressive than the original, though still respectable for a dupe offering.
