Rasasi
Best Yves Saint Laurent Belle d'Opium Dupe
Roohy Tehbak captures the floral-fruity opening and creamy-woody base of Belle d'Opium quite effectively, with similar jasmine prominence and patchouli depth. However, the clone lacks some of the original's complexity in the heart notes, particularly the peony's delicate structure, and the citrus top feels slightly less refined. Longevity is comparable but sillage tends to be slightly more modest than the designer version.
The clone performs well overall but misses some of Belle d'Opium's nuanced floral layers and has a slightly less prominent lemon-freesia brightness in the opening. Rasasi's formulation is more linear, lacking the original's subtle evolution through the dry down.
