Fattan captures the bright citrus opening and mineral-woody character of Terre d'Hermes reasonably well, with a similar spicy-fresh top and earthy base structure. However, Fattan lacks the sophisticated flint-like quality and refined complexity of the original, presenting a somewhat more straightforward and linear development that doesn't evolve as gracefully.
Fattan has slightly shorter longevity and less prominent mineral/flint notes compared to the original's distinctive mineral-ambroxan accord. The clone leans slightly more linear with less nuanced middle notes, though the overall DNA remains recognizable.
