My husband actually thought that Velvet Gold is the original GFG.It’s a sweet and unique scent. I love it. After comparing them both side by side for a week, I noticed that Velvet Gold is sweeter (caramel note) and little bit longer lasting on my skin. It’s a beautiful scent but I think I prefer GFG as it’s less sweet and a bit more sophisticated.”
