What people who wear Maison Asrar Red Velvet report, based on votes and reviews from a large fragrance community.
“So currently Lattafa Rave Now is my favourite Middle Eastern fragrance. Red Velvet is similar to Rave now based on the fact that it opens with a similar strawberry note. The middle however transcends to a more powdery floral accord from the violet and Jasmine. ( The violet and Orris root combined makes it smells A LOT like baby powder). Compared to the Lattafa Rave Now, the moss note is also very amped up which makes it a bit aromatic. I still prefer Lattafa Rave Now as it is fruiter, airier, sweeter, projects more and lasts forever, especially on clothes.”
“I have it for some time now and this one is kind of a beast mode fragrance to me. The orris is pretty strong in here, and it's very fruity. I mostly smell the strawberry, orris and musk for most of the time, and a powdery violet with orange in the dry down. I loved this at first, but I got bored of it after a couple of months. It's a pleasant and long lasting fragrance though, which got me many compliments.”
