βCompared to Cherry Gossip the opening is pretty bad, smells like a waxy cherry candle or lip balm. But itβs dry down strays, having a strange citric coffee that I absolutely adore. Compared to Opera Noir itβs also not as boring.β
βI got this fragrance last winter and only now sprayed it on my clothes. I love it! I can smell sweet cherry, it's also flowery with vanilla. I love the scent of aromatic coffee beans, but can't stand the strong smell of freshly brewed coffee, this fragrance doesn't have that unpleasant odour. To me it smells like a very fragrant dark red burgundy carnation. Not for hot summer days, cool and cold days are the perfect time to wear this comforting and alluring fragrance.β
βItβs synthetic, bad performance and barely develops. On clothes there is a hint of the classic Black Opium scent, but it is not as strong and powerful. I have a decant of Black Opium Over Red, and it opens wonderfully with notes of cherry, jasmine tea and the classic Black Opium base. But this one feels like it has been diluted with alcohol and water. A total disappointment with no longevity whatsoever.β
