Najdia captures the citrus-forward opening and spicy-aromatic heart of Invictus quite well, with grapefruit and mandarin translating faithfully through the first two hours. The base notes are reasonably close, though the ambergris's creamy sweetness appears slightly softened, and the overall drydown lacks some of the original's sophisticated warmth and longevity.
Najdia performs admirably in the opening and mid-stage but falls slightly short in base projection and staying power compared to Invictus's robust 8+ hour performance. The clone also exhibits slightly less sillage and a marginally less refined woody-amber finish.
