“Overhyped. That’s the short version.Performance is genuinely great - long-lasting, strong projection, no complaints there. But the scent itself isn’t doing it for me. For anyone who remembers it, this sits close to lattafa Assad Zanzibar from last year - similar territory, similar feel.Great numbers on paper, wrong fragrance for my nose. Pass.”
“Definitely points for originality with this one. They somehow managed to marry Khamrah with something more citrus and summery. I personally like the opening much more than the dry down - the dry down almost reminds me of Peace & Love...it's got a nuttiness/roasted quality to it that seems out of place in a freshy.I get why people like it, I think it's enjoyable and unique - just not for me.”
“Opening is a lovely citrusy, aquatic scent that pairs nicely with the sweet base. The dry down to me is nauseatingly sweet without the top notes to balance it out, and makes it uncomfortable for me to wear in warm settings. This is especially so if I work up a sweat - on my skin, the overpowering sweetness from the vanilla feels too cloying whilst I'm doing something active. I could see myself wearing this more on spring/summer nights instead of during the day, but as it stands, the dry down is too sweet.”
