“I blind bought this one and just received it. I agree that the essence of this is similar to Athena by Maison Alhambra, which is gorgeous. But this has this watery note...I'd even say dewy...that Athena doesn't have. Totally similar vibes, though. Light, airy, softly sweetly floral, ephemeral...I'm loving it so far. Haven't smelled GGO, so I can't speak to that. For the price, this was a no-brainer for me. I live in the south and would wear this winter through summer, both day and night. This would make a great bedtime scent!”
“I love Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid but this is not the dupe for it guys but it does smell good. Warning you guys, It really does need maceration. First time spraying it, there was a note that was throwing me off. The dry down after 15 minutes made it better but I know the performance will get better once, I leave it for a few months, perfect for spring and summer. Just give it time.”
“This is pretty much a hybrid of Gorgeous Orchid and Alien Goddess but add in a bit of washing powder in the dry down. What makes GO special to me is that balance of coconut, vanilla and banana candy with airiness and freshness. This doesn’t have that balance. There’s nothing airy or particularly refined. And though it’s initially more dense than GO, if you spray accordingly GO will last on you a bit longer. It’s a perfectly fine dupe, but I’m happy I got the original.”
