What people who wear Korres Avgoustos report, based on votes and reviews from a large fragrance community.
“From start to drydown I get neroli. However what separates this from being a 4711 clone are the green fig notes and a rather modern musk. Sillage is good and longevity is about 3-4 hours with 2 sprays. All in all quite a competent and natural fragrance at a reasonable price.”
“Beautiful, photorealistic fig tree; the flesh of the fruit, the stems, the leaves, the bark, the milky sap, everything. This is all I wished Infusion de Figue by Prada would be, and for a fraction of the price. I do not get lemon tree, citrus fruits or lavender. It's very sweet, green and creamy. It reminds me of summers in the countryside. Unisex, leaning feminine. Lasts quite a bit, but is rather intimate. For the price, I really can't complain, especially when there are 200€ colognes that perform the same.”
“One of the best fragrances i've used in summer. Complaining about the sillage or longevity would be missing the point. You're swimming in the ocean or on a towel, sweating in the sun, and by the time you've dried off and walking back it's barely there, and that's exactly the point. It blends with the summer day.A fragrance should be judged by whether it fits its moment, not by some universal benchmarks. You don't want every day to be a hot beach day but when you are at one you cherish it like you wanted to be in one forever, Avgoustos is definitely like that too.”
