Veneno captures the spiced tobacco and oud character of Smoking Hot quite effectively, with a comparable dry, smoky profile in the heart. However, the clone feels slightly less refined in the opening and the vanilla-amber base doesn't quite achieve the same depth and smoothness as the original, giving it a somewhat flatter dry-down.
Veneno has slightly better performance longevity but lacks the sophisticated nuance of Smoking Hot's mid-stage development. The original's leather and oud accord feels more polished, while the clone reads as a more straightforward spiced tobacco interpretation.
