Glorious Oud captures the spicy opening and woody heart of Oud for Greatness reasonably well, with cardamom and saffron providing similar top-note warmth. However, the clone's oud character feels slightly sharper and less refined, with the base lacking the same creamy ambroxan smoothness that gives the original its signature soft projection. The overall composition is competitive for the price point but noticeably drier in the dry-down.
Glorious Oud's oud note is more synthetic and linear, while the original offers better blending and longevity. The clone also shows reduced sillage and a slightly shorter wearing time compared to Initio's formulation.
