“Fresh out of the box is a little weak, you do get a lot of that sandlewood and amber note. The opening is pretty smoky and you can really smell the alcohol. However the drydown is absolutely phenomenal, for 50 dollars this is a really good dupe of blonde amber. I have both and would say its 80-90 percent similar with the only main difference being that the sweetness in amber empire is much more appearent. Longevity around 3-4 with skin scent around 6 max, ok longevity. I would say this is blind buy safe if you are looking for that blonde amber dna for much cheaper.”

“I havent smelled Blonde Amber so I can't compare.The opening is : alcoholy, ambery sweet.After 30mins its much better : sweet, woody, powdery, ambery scent with a hint of spice.Very nice scent for the cooler months.Longevity is about is about 4-5h max with medium projection.I tested the 3 most known Blonde Amber clones : Faris al Arab, Khadlaj Onyx Gold and French Avenue Amber Empire.All 3 are 95% to one another, Faris Al arab has a slight cherry drydown, Onyx Gold has a more fruity sweetness drydown and Amber Empire more ambery.I would say, buy the one that is avalaible at the cheapest price.”

“There's a distinct ambery vanilla and liquor scent in the opening. A woody accord develops during the dry down. Over time, the scent turns into some sort of sugary vanilla liquor with a combination of woods and amber that smells like cinnamon to my nose.I'm impressed. It's a very warm woody, boozy vanilla, and amber fragrance that can easily last you through the cold season. I would get a decant of this before buying, especially if you're not a fan of "oriental" or liquor scents. Great longevity and projection. Not a personal favorite of mine, but it can easily be within someone else's top 5.”
