“Smells almost the same as Side Effect, which I really like. Both of them smell like cherry to me and a lot of people I’ ve asked for some reason. However, this one has very weak performance. It also doesn’t smell as strong as the original. Don’t blind buy if you liked the original and are looking for a clone. If you can’ t test this one, just buy the original or look for another clone.”

“Extremely good clone and easily outperforms the current formulation of Side Effect (tested/compared both). Out of the box this smelled very spicy in the opening, didn’t like it that much at first. The harsh spicy note would fade after 20-30 minutes.Now after letting it macerate for 2+ months the harsh spicy note in the opening is completely gone, it’s really 95% close to the OG and packs a really good punch in terms of projection/sillage and longevity. A must get if you like Side Effect, no need to buy the OG.”

“I have tried this and the aftermath dupe they also make. Both were a very similar and hugely disappointing. Do yourself a favor and buy Hercules by Maison Alhambra instead, yes I know that's a Herod dupe, but it's done so well and can be used in all of the same roles as Side Effect. With After Effect I get a strong plastic and cumin opening over watered down Side Effect, it also has weak performance. You can tell what they were trying to do and they just missed the mark. I agree it smells somewhat similar in the air, but it's kind of nasty up close. Save your money.”
