Sui Generis captures the fresh, citrusy opening and floral heart of Gentleman Society quite effectively, with similar bergamot brightness and iris prominence. However, the base lacks the refined ambroxan signature of the original, relying instead on a warmer musk that gives it a slightly less sophisticated dry-down. Longevity is comparable at 6-7 hours, though projection is marginally softer.
The main difference lies in the base note composition—Sui Generis substitutes ambroxan with musk, creating a warmer but less elegant finish. The clone also exhibits slightly less sillage and a marginally shorter longevity compared to the designer version.
