Genuine Man Only captures the spicy-woody profile of Gentleman Only reasonably well, with similar cardamom and ginger top notes leading into an iris and ambroxan heart. However, the clone tends to feel slightly thinner and less refined, with the base notes appearing less prominent and the overall composition lacking the sophisticated depth and longevity of the original.
The clone offers decent sillage initially but fades noticeably faster than the original, with a less developed basenote structure. The middle notes are somewhat muddled compared to the clean, distinct iris-ambroxan combination in Gentleman Only.
