Solara Sea captures the fresh, citrus-forward opening and aquatic character of Aqva Amara reasonably well, with the neroli and mandarin translating effectively in the top notes. The patchouli and incense base notes are present but tend to feel slightly softer and less refined than the original's more sophisticated blend, lacking some of the olibanum's smoky complexity.
The clone's aquatic heart feels more generic than the original's watery notes, and the base lacks the depth and resinous quality of authentic olibanum. Longevity and sillage are typically moderate in Dua clones, falling slightly short of the designer's performance.
