Parisian Aura captures the structural DNA of Gris Charnel's sophisticated iris-violet heart with a crisp pink pepper opening, though the aldehydic shimmer tends to be slightly softer in the clone. The dry, earthy base of vetiver and patchouli is well-replicated, though the ambroxan warmth doesn't project quite as prominently in the drydown.
The clone performs adequately in longevity and sillage but lacks the sparkling aldehydic intensity and aromatic complexity of the original. Dua's interpretation is slightly more linear and less refined in the transition between heart and base notes.
