Opus Amber captures the rich amber and incense heart of the original quite convincingly, with a similar warm, resinous character. The clone performs well in the mid-stage development, though the base tends to be slightly more vanilla-forward and less complex than Tom Ford's intricate woody-labdanum foundation.
Dua's version has slightly softer projection and a marginally shorter longevity (6-7 hours vs. 8-9 hours for the original). The base lacks some of the sophisticated woody depth of the designer, making it feel somewhat more linear and less nuanced in the dry-down.
