D Le Attar captures the fresh citrus opening and woody-aromatic DNA of Y reasonably well, with a comparable clean aesthetic. However, the clone typically lacks the refined balance and subtle nuance of the original's ambroxan-musk base, which creates a softer, more sophisticated dry-down in the designer version.
The clone may exhibit slightly stronger citrus projection in the opening and a less refined synthetic quality in the base compared to Y's seamless woody-amber progression. Longevity and sillage tend to be moderately close but the original's soft diffusion is difficult to replicate accurately.
