Dua
Best Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir Dupe
Crater Special Edition captures the warm, creamy gourmand DNA of Grand Soir quite effectively, with the tonka-benzoin sweetness and amber base translating well to the clone. However, the original's Spanish labdanum provides a more refined, slightly woody-resinous character that Dua's version softens slightly, making the clone feel marginally more linear and less complex in the mid-development phase.
Dua's Crater tends to be slightly sweeter and smoother overall, with less of the sophisticated labdanum richness found in the original. Longevity and sillage are comparable, but Grand Soir has better evolution and depth throughout the wear.
