Code of Dua captures the citrus opening and warm spiced heart of Armani Code quite well, with the star anise and tobacco creating that characteristic aromatic sweetness. However, the clone tends to lack the refined depth and sophistication of the original's guaiac wood and leather base, resulting in a slightly flatter dry-down that doesn't project as elegantly.
The clone performs adequately in the opening but shows noticeably shorter longevity and reduced sillage compared to the original. The base notes feel more generic and less nuanced, missing some of the woody-leather complexity that makes Armani Code distinctive.
