The Scoop

Cremo's Spice & Black Vanilla captures the spicy heart and tobacco-leather base of Spicebomb but diverges significantly by introducing black vanilla as a dominant base note, which softens the original's sharp saffron and paprika character. The opening lacks the fresh citrus brightness of the designer version, resulting in a warmer, more vanilla-forward composition that trades sophistication for approachability. Longevity and sillage are noticeably lighter than the original.

Key Differences

Cremo replaces the original's delicate saffron and paprika with a generic spice blend and adds prominent black vanilla that fundamentally alters the base, making it sweeter and less refined. The clone also lacks the fresh citrus top notes that give Spicebomb its distinctive character.

What wearers say

“The best 20 dollar winter fragrance to exist. This is the Nautica voyage of winter fragrances except not as synthetic smelling and less overplayed. It has the compliment factor, the longevity(despite being an edt) and for its price, it smells like a well blended designer fragrance. The balance between the notes is perfect. Cardamon, vanilla, and wood all blended into unity. I does smell very similar to Spice bomb original edt however spicebomb has more prominent spice notes.”

“It is a nice cologne. I wouldn't say this is an exact clone of Spice Bomb Extreme. The top notes are little bit fresher or spicier because of the cardamom but, in the drydown it is a very similar scent since that tobacco and vanilla notes come out.Longevity was 6-8 hours can't really complain for its price though.Compliment factor is good but mostly from women and specifically 25-30+ women, so i would recommend this for older guys.8/10 solid fragrance for fall and winter.”

“Very similar for spice bomb extreme for a fraction of the price. It is a EDT, so the projection and longevity isn't that amazing, but for a simple non-offensive daily scent in the fall and winter this is great. One qualm with the smell is that its incredibly linear, from the moment of application to the drydown, its the exact same smell. Not necessarily a bad thing but there's a lack of complexity over time. Otherwise its still a great smell.Virtually no one can dislike this smell, safest blind buy on the planet.”
