Wanted Man captures the fresh spicy-citrus opening and creamy tonka base of Azzaro's Wanted quite effectively, maintaining the signature cardamom-forward character. However, the clone tends to soften the original's sharper juniper and ginger punch, resulting in a slightly more rounded, less distinct aromatic profile that loses some of the designer's complexity.
Armaf's version is smoother and less angular than the original, with reduced projection and longevity (typically 4-5 hours vs 6-7 for Wanted). The vetiver and mint notes are notably muted in the clone, making it feel less crisp and refreshing overall.
