“I haven't smelled the original, so this review is judging the fragrance as a standalone. I got this as a decant, so maybe it's different after maceration. The opening is a little harsh and powdery, but it gets smoother in the drydown, and the caramel becomes more pronounced. Performance is solid for the price. However, I found it too synthetic and sweet to wear. I was expecting a more rich, buttery caramel in the drydown with a hint of orange, but it smells like a cheap attempt of caramel on my skin. A very sweet and unique smell, I just can't see myself wearing it.”
