Midnite Oud captures the luminous citrus opening and oud-forward base of Interlude Man fairly well, with comparable spicy-floral middle notes. However, the clone pushes oud more prominently throughout the composition, resulting in a slightly darker and more oud-centric interpretation rather than the original's balanced aromatic sophistication. The musk and sandalwood backbone are reasonably close, though Ard Al Zaafaran's rendition tends toward less refinement in the heart.
