Best Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Dupe
Lazuli captures the bright citrus opening and floral heart of Neroli Portofino reasonably well, with a comparable freshness in the opening accords. However, the clone lacks the sophisticated complexity of the original's pitosporum and ambrette notes, resulting in a slightly more linear and less nuanced development. The base is warmer but less refined, missing some of the delicate angelica that gives the designer version its elegant finish.
Lazuli simplifies the floral profile and substitutes generic musk for the original's more subtle ambrette, resulting in less longevity and projection. The clone also misses the herbal complexity (myrtle, specific pitosporum character) that distinguishes Neroli Portofino's sophisticated composition.
