Best Chanel Bleu de Chanel Dupe
Historic Olmeda captures the fresh citrus opening and woody-aromatic backbone of Bleu de Chanel reasonably well, with comparable spice and jasmine heart notes. However, the clone tends to feel slightly less refined in the mid-stage, with the spices appearing less nuanced and the sandalwood-patchouli base lacking the depth and sophistication of the original's signature drydown.
While the overall structure is similar, Bleu de Chanel maintains superior longevity and projection, with a more balanced interplay between citrus and woods throughout the wear. Historic Olmeda performs adequately but feels flatter in the heart and base, with less complexity in how the notes transition.
