Maison Alhambea Kismet captures the aromatic-floral structure of YSL Tuxedo with decent fidelity to its spiced bergamot opening and rose-violet heart. However, the clone tends to feel slightly thinner in projection and the bourbon vanilla base lacks the sophisticated warmth of the original, creating a more generic clean-fresh finish rather than the rich, animalic depth of the designer version.
The clone's base notes appear to use standard vanilla rather than bourbon vanilla, resulting in reduced complexity and longevity compared to the original's more luxurious ambergris-patchouli accord. Sillage and projection also appear noticeably softer in the clone.
