Best Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Dupe
Jenny Glow's interpretation captures the fresh, salty-herbaceous opening of the original quite well, with the grapefruit and sea salt creating that distinctive ozonic quality. However, the clone tends to be slightly more linear and less complex in the heart, with the sage and seaweed notes feeling less nuanced and layered than Jo Malone's version. The base's musky ambrette is present but often lacks the subtle depth and lasting power of the designer fragrance.
Jenny Glow offers better longevity than Jo Malone's notoriously light formula, but sacrifices some of the original's refined complexity and natural-smelling herb and salt balance. The clone reads slightly more synthetic in the dry down, with a more prominent musk signature that the original handles with greater subtlety.
